Your PANTABOX is waterproof and dustproof in accordance with protection class IP67. Dirt cannot harm your PANTABOX. If you still want to clean your PANTABOX, simply use a damp cloth.

No maintenance or servicing is required. If something really should break, repairs are carried out exclusively by us. Simply contact our customer service. 

The PANTABOX is certified according to protection classification IP67 and thus even offers protection against temporary submersion. The PANTABOX can therefore also be used in the rain.

The LED bar always shows you the current charging status of the PANTABOX. You can also track the charging process via the PANTABOX app or your vehicle app. If you wish, the PANTABOX app can also send push notifications about the charging process to your smartphone. 

The electricity that is available to you at home is called three-phase current. This usually consists of 3 phases. Two factors determine whether you can charge your electric vehicle with 1-, 2- or 3-phase current. 

1. Which socket is being used?
2. Which on-board charger is installed in your car?

Schuko sockets - these are the normal household sockets - can draw a maximum of 16A via short phases and 13A in the long term. CEE sockets - also known as heavy current sockets - use all three phases of the three-phase network. Depending on the socket, the charging current is therefore passed on to your vehicle via 1 or 3 phases. Ultimately, however, the on-board charger decides how many phases it wants to use for charging.

Mode 2 means charging an electric car at a standard household socket (e.g. Schuko) or three-phase socket (e.g. CEE red). A control box (ICCB) is used to monitor the charging process and communicate between the electric car and the charging connection. In our case, the mobile unit of the PANTABOX.

With the PANTABOX, three-phase charging with up to 11 kW (16 A, 3-phase) is possible. This allows you to charge your electric vehicle conveniently overnight or at work. Although there are also wallboxes that charge with up to 22 kW, most on-board chargers in vehicles only support AC charging up to 11 kW.

To protect your PANTABOX from misuse by strangers, you need the app. Simply activate the authentication feature here and you can ensure that only those who are allowed to charge can do so. NFC tags or an app user account can be used for authorization. Or you can use our keyless charging feature, where you only need to come close to the PANTABOX with your smartphone to activate it and you can start charging.

The following adapters are currently available: - CEE 16A 3-phase - CEE 16A 1-phase (camping plug) - earthing contact plug (type E+F) - Commonwealth plug (type G) - Italy plug (type L) - Denmark plug (type K) - Switzerland plug (type J)

Select one of the mains adapters supplied to match your power connection. Remove the protective cover. Plug the adapter into the PANTABOX handset by matching the line and dot markings on both parts. The INRO logo points towards you. Now simply push the adapter in this position onto the connector of the PANTABOX handset. Now turn the locking ring of the adapter plug clockwise. You will hear a “click”, indicating that the adapter has been successfully connected to the PANTABOX handset.

Never disconnect the adapter while the handset is still connected to the mains - so always unplug it from the socket first! Then turn the locking ring of the adapter anti-clockwise until the connection is released. Now you can remove the adapter from the PANTABOX handset. Use the protective cap supplied to protect it from dirt and moisture.

Charging with the PANTABOX at household sockets is safe throughout Europe. The adapters have active temperature monitoring for protection. If it gets too hot at the socket, the PANTABOX automatically reduces the charging power. If the situation does not improve afterwards, the charging process is automatically terminated. The app also offers the option of conveniently adjusting adapter-specific current limits - as they exist in some countries.

The following requirements for the domestic installation must be met so that the docking station can be installed: - max. cross-section of the connecting cable: 6 mm² - max. fuse protection of the supply line: 16 A, the fuse protection must be matched to the supply line - residual current circuit breaker: type A (30 mA), taking into account national specifications - rated voltage: 230/400 V - rated frequency: 50 Hz

It is not necessary to install an expensive type B RCD in the upstream installation.

No, an 11 kW charging station does not need to be approved. You only need to register it with your grid operator. This is usually done by your electrician.
