How does it work and what are the advantages?
We are all familiar with keyless go by now: You approach your car and it opens without you having to get out the physical key. But what does keyless charge mean?
Keyless charging for a wallbox refers to a function that enables authentication at a charging station without the need for a physical key card, an RFID chip or authentication via an app. This means that the activation takes place in the background so that the charging process starts automatically as soon as the vehicle is connected to the wallbox. Additional steps by the user to unlock or activate the wallbox are therefore no longer necessary.
What are the advantages of Keyless Charge?
- Comfort: Users do not have to search for a key card or other authentication device, which makes the charging process more convenient.
- Time saving: The charging process starts immediately, without any additional steps, which is particularly useful in situations where time is short.
How does keyless charging work with the PANTABOX?
The prerequisite is that you have a PANTABOX, the corresponding app is installed on your smartphone and you have already authenticated yourself as a PANTABOX user via the app.
Then activate the Keyless Charge function in the PANTABOX app.
Now you just need to make sure that the app is open in the background on your smartphone and the PANTABOX will unlock without you having to take your smartphone or RFID card out of your pocket.
